A friend/in-law is keen to start doing some day walks, however she is having difficulty finding a pair of shoes/boots to fit. She's a size 11.5 12 with a narrow foot.
Any recommendations? From some initial research I believe the following brands potentially offer a more narrow fit:
Merrell, Salomon, Vasque, Asolo, Lowa, Arc'Teryx, La Sportiva
She's based in Rosebud so will probably venture into the Melbourne CBD and do some trying-on at some stage.
TIA

I presume that women’s boots run similarly to men's? If that’s the case anything euro will likely work.
Salomon and Asolo are narrow. In some models their 'wide' version is a d fitting.

Often one of the things that causes problems with narrow feet is that the foot volume is much less the shoe volume. Using an extra pair of insoles can help reduce the shoe volume to better match the foot.

Thanks, yes I had thought about insoles.
I've recommended she phone and speak to a few of the better shops in Melbourne CBD first, and see what they suggest, then maybe follow up with a trip into town for some trying-on. Unfortunately all of the euro brands are quite expensive.

I wear a EU 42 in the Zamberlan Vioz and I have narrow feet! Tell her to give them a try! I'm normally a women's US 10.

Thanks - it looks as though she would need to go to the men's model for a size 12.
Did you buy yours in Australia?

I did buy them here (from Mountain Designs) but I’m not sure how you can get them now that those stores have all closed.
