I reckon Vango are weary of enquiries re Helium as I sent a not too polite email to Wild Earth...whom I purchased the Helium 100 from re weights etc.
Wild Earth said they would weigh tents they had in stock and ask Vango UK what the go is....but no reply yet.
I guess with going light there's always going to be some trade off...but it also depends on where you actually want to camp. I definitely wont be camping on high peaks if I can help it.....prefer to stay lower down and do longer day walks to where ever I want to go. From reviews I've read I still think the 100/200 can handle some reasonably tough conditions....but possibly not full on high peak conditions.
I'm still yet to try out.
And corvus...definitely refuse to sleep in the tent in my back yard...wouldn't feel right....but you're welcome to.
