TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. Yea, but it's only over the very end of the sleeping bag. Better to have the outside dry. The vapour can get out through the rest of the bag...

It doesn't. I've done that, and the toe of the bag was dripping wet the next morning.

Nothing has happened, yet.
It will happen though - I hope to achieve a detailed enough review on the snowcave to encourage a maker to recreate this tent in some form.
I imagine a cross between the Hilleberg Nallo2 and the Snowcave, but that will be discussed down the track in the snowcave topic.

I have finally got around to putting up the Nallo 3 GT.
A few things jumped out at me first off was the quality of the fabric, its like silk but super strong.
The second was the guy ropes when you place them in the right spot the tent would withstand any wind.
And the third was the amount of space in the vestibule. Im getting the foot print which gives the vestibule a floor. Its big enough to fit four packs and still have room to get in and out. The two different openings into to the tent also give you more options as well.

Love the look of that thing. Been thinking about a Nallo 2 - can't really justify the GT, though all that loverly space if the weather goes bad . . .

Good looking tent and I do like the nice warm and bright colour ,so much nicer than my Macpac Microlite and Stellar in their dark almost Camo Green

I would have loved to get the Nallo 4 GT, but couldn't justify the price. Nice looking tent! Congrats!

I think you should spring for the Nallo 2 GT after having very little room in the MSR Hubba Hubba this has so much better room for all weather conditions

It's hard enough to justify a 2 man tent for little old me. Adding a vestibule of that size is really overdoing it.

Putting your pegs in with a hammer???
It's an unwritten rule that you should use a lump of rock for this task. In a domestic environment, a broken brick will suffice (only a broken one).
But a HAMMER?
Welcome to Club Hilleberg! It sure stands out being that bright eh? Did you have any emergency crews approach you while you had that beacon in your backyard?

Ok you caught me and yes I have very soft hands. I did not think that the red was that bright but i do like it.

Update on the Steripen that failed. Just got a email back from them saying its a one off and that they will replace the unit asap.

Ahhh.. Red, 'better to burn out than fade away'...
I also like the Nallo 3 as a two person tent, extra internal room for little more weight. Id probably stick with the single person tent (Atko etc.(for a single person))...
Looks good, i'm sure you'll have no worries with it..
