TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Marmot Helium Sleeping Bag

I just received my Marmot Helium Bag :D , decided to add another bag to my collection alongside my WM summerlight .
Bag seems very well made and the baffle's puff up nice & high .
I do like the zipp system too seems to move easier than my WM
I did notice two feather ends poking trough the fabric so I removed em ,no holes where left that you can see , 1 dark grey & 1 white feather , I thought the fill was supposed to be powder down no large feathers like Ive seen in a sample ?

I think depending on the brand even 800fp down often still has 5% or something of feathers which are probably more likely to poke through than down clumps. From what I've read it is often better to try and pull the pokers back into the bag rather than pulling them out because they can bring more with them. I've successfully done this a few times. You have to try and grab the back end of it through the shell material.
