TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Lockable Pack Cover / Tote Bag for Rucksack

Has anyone got any inexpensive reccommendations for a Tote-bag / zippable pack cover that would be suitable for
    - keeping a pack harness safe during airline flights / baggage handling
    - the ability to lock the pack in for security whilst travelling
I've found a few options (see links below)

Osprey "Airporter" http://www.ospreypacks.com/detail.php?p ... escription
Tatonka "Luggage Cover" http://intranet.tatonka.com/infosys/inf ... dll?3101&0
Sea-To-Summit "Travel Tote" http://www.trekandtravel.com.au/product2.aspx?id=486

I ended up sourcing the Tatonka Luggage Cover from Passion8 (Hobart olde PaddyPallin shop)
The neat thing about these ones (besides the sub $40 price tag), is they are a pack rain-cover which doubles with a zip enclosure to lock the harness safely away for travel.
Looking forward to trying it out in a couple of weeks on an Asian adventure :)

MD's do one also. Around $75
Its pretty basic but will fold away into itself to form a small package when not in use.
