TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

i just got my Jetboil Flash off ebay (thanks for the info flatfoot- WOW what a saving compared to buying in Aus) and found that you need to turn the valve over two full turns before you can hear gas coming out. Thought it was faulty at first as i could not get it to ignite till it was nearly fully open. I found on other brands of stoves that you can hear the gas as soon as you turn the valve open. Does anyone else have this ? or is mine a dud?

I have a jetboil. I must say that mine turns on after only a slight turn. Sorry to say.
Once yours is ignited can you turn it down to a low flame? Or is full power your only option?
Nothing to see here.
