Greetings all!
Looking at a new pot. Toaks Ti 130mm 900ml.
Toaks gives the hight of this pot as 68mm. I would imagine the lid might add an extra few mm to this height.
Can anyone confirm, or deny that this pot can nest a small canister, with pot lid on?
I know Toaks also offer the 115mm 900ml but I usually prefer a shorter wider pot that a taller thin one. That being said, taller pots usually easier to pack your kit into.
Anyone had any experience with this pot?

G'day Sherpa.
I have the 130 mm 900 mL pot - the 68 mm height includes the lid, but with how the lid is designed that's actually your total usable height as well. It does fit a small canister in with the lid on, as long as you take the little cap covering the gas valve off.

I have the taller cup and a canister fits in with the cap on. It really isn't a good idea to leave the cap off. I've not got the lid for mine tho as I bought it here sans lid
I do have the larger TOAKS pot with lid and it fits a canister plus extras but the little BRS3000 will just fit inside the taller cup with a canister and canister base the mesh bag keeps everything together if you squeeze in a few extra teabags or cuppasoups

I'm a 'walk with your gas canister cap on',kind of a guy. I know a lot walk with the cap off. Curious to see if a thin DIY cap can be made. I see the Evernew 900ml pot is even shorter than the Toaks and can still fit a small canister too without cap.
I've just had another look at the Toaks 115mm 900ml and it's not tall and thin like I had thought. It's actually wider at the base than it is tall. This got me thinking also of the MSR Titan kettle style pots. They seem more equal in diameter and height.

Only difference between the MSR 900ml Titan and the TOAKS really is the small pouring spout. I have to say I don't think I have ever used either to cook in, 900ml is my usual coffee cup size. I find I have to use the plastic base with the small canister for safe and stable use so I find that the taller cup works better for my needs
