Hi.
I'm 35, male.
I'm looking at bushwalking and hiking on short day walks to the following areas below in spring and summer.
And I'm looking for shoes or boots that will be suitable, give my wide feet support, stability, cushioning, comfort, breathability.
And provide great traction, tread, grip and hopefully prevent slipping.
Locations plan to bushwalking/hiking:
Dryandra and Perup Nature Reserves, WA
Flinders Chase National Park (Rocky River Hike, Platypus Waterholes Walk), Kangaroo Island, SA
Guided Day Walk to the Summit of Mount Koscuiszko and an animal survey at Charlotte's Pass, NSW.
I would be carrying an extra large backpack (weighing between 3 to several kg),
and 2 camera bags on my shoulders (digital camera and video camera).
Would shoes be sufficient? Or should I opt for boots? - to support or stabilise my ankles?
