TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

New Merrell Lightweights For Autumn 2012

Merrell's biggest story recently has been the success of the Barefoot range, but the US footwear specialist also has a neat new trail-walking model called the Merrell Mix Master - out this autumn 2012 - which takes the same minimalist principles, but beefs them up a little for more underfoot ruggedness.

Merrell Mix Master has been available for sale at the Athletes Foot for the past 4 weeks. I purchased a pair 4 weeks ago at the local store.

Merrell make a great pair of shoes, very comfortable, I have 9 different models, maybe the mix master will be # 10.
