TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

I was given one of these by Rico at Ferrino to use, test and write a product review.

Firstly I must say for the price, this gear is excellent. You could be mistaken for thinking that for just over 100dollars, this would be a crappy pack. But it isnt. I wouldnt take it off track in tasmania, but for the other states, and track walking it is an excellent choice, especially for the fair weather walker who doesnt require the top of the range toughness or reputation.

Our trip was a 2 day trip on the Central Plateau. Now it was winter in Tas, so it was very cold, and just a bit wet. The pack stayed dry (I opted to use my own pack cover and not the one supplied) and performed very well.

It is light, and comfortable. And at 48l it is an excellent size for weekend trips in Tassie conditions. The best thing about this pack though is it's practicality for price. Excellent value.
