TIP: The online Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Sugru Fans?

I don't know if many here now of Sugru or not but they have a regular newsletter with Sugru hacks and the latest one has a video on fixing zips. I thought for those looking to add zipper pulls it might add another option.

Having some of it sill around I think I will give it a go.

Sorry but I cannot get the YouTube video to embed but it can be found here.

To embed a youtube video you need to copy and paste the group of letters after the "?v=" and before the first "&" in between "youtube" tags. Using the video you posted for example. The whole URL is: "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYjv06x6A10". You only need to paste the "OYjv06x6A10" bit in between the youtube tags. See code example below:
Code: Select all

One foot in front of the other.

Thanks for that, I think I will add it to the end of the "Editor tutorial".

Thanks. That is different to what I am used to on other forums which use the whole link between the tags.

Does anybody have any experience with Sugru as a insulator for pot handles? My brother gave me some Sugru at xmas time randomly and seeing as its silicone rubber I was thinking of coating the handles on my Snow peak 900 with it with the hope I could handle them without a bandana.

Any other ideas for what to use it for? Does anybody think it would be useful in a repair kit as the sachets themselves only weigh 6g?
