I guess they have never walked around bare footed out doors nor do they wear ze thongs

I recently picked up a pair of the land and sea H20 "ultimate wet shoe" for use in my sea kayaking adventures. Good for in and out of the water, around camp, rocks, oysters etc. They dry super quick, probably pack down similar to crocs, but much better in terms of protection and support and only $20. I got mine from my local dive shop in Newcastle. Not sure about weight (not so critical for kayak camping).

The one-moment shoes look like a nice compact option. Would be nice to have a "spare" pair of dry shoes that can be shoved into a space in one of the hatches.

Um, chaps, did you realise that these shoes are Spanish, not French!!?? (BTW , my Frenchman has very big feet!
