TIP: The online
Bushwalk Inventory System can help bushwalkers with a variety of bushwalk planning tasks, including: Manage which items they take bushwalking so that they do not forget anything they might need, plan meals for their walks, and automatically compile food/fuel shopping lists (lists of consumables) required to make and cook the meals for each walk. It is particularly useful for planning for groups who share food or other items, but is also useful for individual walkers.

Hi all,
In my quest for the family pack mule-sized rucksack, I've narrowed my choices down to 2 contenders, based on size, quality and affordability. both are form Wilderness Equipment. One is the Karajini, and the other the Lost World, which is canvas. Both are 105+ litres, which is the size I'll need.
The size is a bummer, but there's no way I can afford three down sleeping bags, so I'm stuck with trying to fit at least 2 synthetic bags into/onto my pack, as well as a 3-man tent and other sundries.
Anyhow, does anyone have any experience with the Lost World pack?
