It depends entirely on where you are standing when you're looking a Cradle Mountain. The popular photo of Cradle Mt. is across Dove lake with a view of Little Horn (1356m) and Weindorfers Towers (1459m). In this view you are looking at the northern end of the mountain. The higher points are Smithies Peak (1527m) and Cradle Peak (1545m) which are further south, and then falling away to Benson Peak (1368m) at the southern end. It is about 2.5Km from Benson Peak to Little Horn.
So really the whole mountain has four or five peaks.

It is just the one particular view has become iconic and that is the view that gave the mountain its name because it looks like a baby's cradle.
