Who is watching season two?

Any idea of which lake they were using for the filming?
Surely this is recognisable?

Just like the most of the US Alone is filmed in Canada, Swedish Alone is filmed in Norway, German Alone is also filmed in Kanada.

I watched Season 1 which was filmed in Tasmania. I'm guessing the restrictions on hunting etc in Australia limits the available locations.
Ironically, I'm guessing they could possibly hunt Australian brushtail possums in NZ as they've become a pest there.

Yep - possums, boar and deer. And midges…..

The lake they are using is Lake Te Anau - a substantial body of water with large parts of it only accessible by boat.

It looks like Season 2 will be much more interesting, with most if not all people actually equipped to give it a good shot, and with enough potential sources of food to avoid it just being an exercise in surviving starvation.

I've been through that area by road, that spot is not far from the road to Milford Sound. Some spectacular scenery around there.
I haven't started watching yet, but assume they are well spread out away from that specific (drop off?) location?
