What did santa bring everyone?

As for walks I'm heading down to Hobart later tomorrow for about 2 weeks, to wreak havoc on Tasmania again . Hoping to get a few day walks in although I still haven't decided exactly where as yet. Almost certainly around Mt Wellington area but Mt Field/southwest fringe, Hartz Mtns, Huon Valley, Bruny Isl. and Cockle Creek are other possibilities.

Santa got me John Chapman's book of daywalks in Tasmania. I'll try and fit in one or two during future quick trips to Hobart to visit family.

That's a very handy book for Tassie trips, I've had a copy for about 6 years. The little topo maps are good but sometimes I've found it wise to also get the relevant map for the area in case you get adventurous and walk off the edges of the small ones.

Bushwalking-wise got a new hiking pole, and a Wellington Park recreation map for imminent trip.
