The dead tree is that washed down tree in the creekbed. Things like that can be very distinctive when you zoom in enough on the List or Google Earth. The change of rock colour was also distinctive. My question is where were you coming from and going to? It looks like it could be a good wander from Pine Lake along that northern edge of the plateau to Ironstone?

Up Warners track, over Adam, along the cliffs to Sales Rivulet, up Wild Dog and back mostly along the ridge. Covered most of the rest of the cliff line up there and been wanting to explore that area for a while. It's a bit different but really good walking except one horrible scrubby saddle.
