This news report just informed that PMSA has just completely mapped out every building in Australia as well as various forms of land covering. So is there anything in it for us bushwalkers and nature lovers? Did it find all the building structures hidden under bush canopies?

Open data - probably not. Reasonable price? Again .. probably not.
The 'firm' is owned by the governot and the govenot will want to make money from it.

Buildings schmildings. NSW has made its LIDAR data available for free. Which for bushwalkers is a lot more valuable than buildings.
