Malware Banner Ad

]Had no idea where to put this but I seem to get a please install Java Plugin banner but it links to a nasty site known for malware.
Link is below but seperated in to two pieces to stop people clicking it-

I went Mac several years ago and haven't looked back since..........

My comment adds nothing to this thread and is just rubbing in to PC users but I can't help myself.....

Haha, I went to Windows 8 when it came out and the only virus I have had is from one I accidentally installed myself, I scan with Hitman and Spybot nothing other than cookies ever comes up, it's boring. Not sure if Wirelurker is still causing drama for Apple products, probably not, Apple are pretty good at sorting security issues.

Hi -- I have had a look around and can't see anything dodgy. Maybe some virus at your end that make dodgy ads show here??
It is possible that the ad provider sent through some dodgy ads, but they have been good in the past.

Anyone else seen anything weird like this??
Matt :)

MalwareBytes Anti-malware and MalwareBytes Anti-exploit are free and will detect and eliminate cryptolocker.

Worth it for the small price for the amazing Pro versions and regarded as the best in the industry!

It was partly my fault and was related to my search history but the dodgy ads would only pop up on two forums and that was it.

Malwarebytes is really good, I just use CCleaner to get rid of the junk then run Hitman Pro as I hate having extra stuff running in the background, I think I have OCD.
