I am just GREEN with envy. I always just miss the fagus! I went to the Tarn Shelf on Sunday and there were patches still golden, but nothing like in your photo's. We also had squalid weather. Gusty, sun to hail to snow to sun in ten minute rotations. Still . . . twas good to get out!! :-)

Nice work Geoff, I really like the composition of the second last one. I always intend to get up there for some photos but always seem to be busy at that time of year!

Darn!! Lucky you! Nice photo's too, I especially love the ice crystals. Great texture. I like how it matches the rock. I will try and get my timing right next Autumn.
