Just make sure you're with someone who doesn't mind giving a hand when absolutely necessary. Helps with the pack-hauling not to be alone too, although a single shortarse can cope (I did).
There's very little boulder-hopping on the main route, mostly just the climb up Pegasus. Lot of steep up and downs but a steady easy pace will get you from camp to camp without any dramas. Some of the summits require a bit more but you don't have to do the hard ones, and there are plenty that are no harder than the main track.

It is possibly the best walk on this little island of ours. Something you will never ever forget.

NNW - you've just about convinced me! Thanks for the inspiration. Now I've got to hope I live long enough and stop the rot in time to get there :D

Sunset pano (stitched) from above the emergency shelter on Bartle Frere, stayed the night up there.
It reminds every time just how fantastic and beautiful it was to be up there.

Sharing some of my panoramas for fellow bushwalkers.

Here is a peak at the Crater Lake, taken from the Boat Shed from my trip in November to Cradle Mountain.

Those Pigsty shots are brilliant. Must have been fun walking in those conditions.

It was only my third experience in snow, and the first two had been earlier in the year in my backyard. So, yes, fun!

This one coming down the other side of Pindars

Pigeon House from Rusden Head on a hazy morning. Taken on a Samsung S5 with no post processing, this was my first attempt at a panorama. BTW please add my absolute awestruckedness at Dan's shots!

Hey, thanks you lot. I do love playing with a camera in the bush. Here's one from a few days back. Near Mt Olympus. 4 landscape shots stitched vertically. Under a nearly full moon. What a glorious thing it is to be a bushwalker.

Not really bushwalking related (there are some mountains in the distance!) and obviously not up to par with the other photos but here is a pano over the old township of New Norfolk. We were testing the pano feature on a new camera :D

I do stitch photos together, but I find my Samsung phone, while having a lot a variation in quality, can often take a quick and reasonable panorama.

Very nice and I agree, its the same on iPhones. Varying quality but at times they are very good or at least ok for sharing online in low res.
