A ferry to Echo Point, up the lake a couple of km and walked on a bearing to Lake Oenone, climbed Olympus N and back down to Lake St Clair.

Lovely photos , especially the sunrise one...lovely colours and just the right amount of cloud framing the silhouette.

Ah tigercat, you make it sound so simple! When I did the same in Feb last year there was all the loveliness your pix illustrate. But there was also much sweat, scrub and steepness. Please tell me you at least broke into a sweat :oops: :?

Since you ask whynotwalk, some scrub approaching lake Oenone! Carrying a pack up there was hard work.
