I had to do some field work last week and I realised as I was looking up the directions on google that I could 'short cut' through National Park on the way back to the office. Not one to pass up an opportunity I parked the car on one of the fire trails and scrambled down to the creek which I explored for about an hour before heading back to work. Gotta love it :) . The mossy rocks and tree roots along the creek and the steep banks reminded me how impractical steel cap work boots are for that kind of thing...
