My wife bought one of the new Osprey Eja's on the weekend.. essentially a womens version of the Exos.

As is typical with Osprey packs, the quality is great.

Total weight of a womens small in 48L comes in just under 1kg after removing the top lid and a few items we don't use on our packs i.e. ice axe holder etc. etc.

The only real let down for her is the fact the hip belt pockets have been removed - we fixed this very easily by sewing up a pouch that slips over the waist belt.
An interesting observation when comparing my old Exos to her new Eja is how thin the frame material is - the pack itself weighs almost exactly the same as my mens large 48L Exos which to me shows the pack would be quite a bit heavier in an equivalent size.

The front mesh pocket is no longer full mesh like on my Exos - it is partial mesh and partial fabric as are the side pockets. Side pockets are VERY deep and wide - each side pocket can easily fit 2x 1L plastic water bottles.

Only colour available to purchase in Aus (at the moment) is the Equinox Blue which in daylight is more of a purple.

Overall she is very happy with the pack and the 800g saving over her Aura 50L
