Leonhard Schmelzer designed this well. In my tests on my initial Xboil it boiled water outdoors in a breeze with alcohol as effectively as my traildesigns fissure cone/Kojin (my benchmark), is marginally lighter at 45g (vs 59g for the fissure setup) and is much simpler to set set up. The pot hangers are a neat design, and tuck inside the stove. The keyhole system for fastening the Ti windshield into a cylinder is the simplest and most innovative that I’ve yet seen for stoves, as are the pot hangers.
