Hey Fixa - I am in the same situation with a 2P on the way and owning a 1p.

For assistance with selling yours:

From my outings with the 1P DD Xmid - it's been bomb-proof and a tent that I'm not wanting to let go as-yet.

The SilPoly is so much drier than SilNynon after shaking the rain off it.

My various sleeping matts don't slip on the floor.

I spent three nights at Dixons Kingdom TAS on sodden ground and there was not a bit of dampness inside when I packed up.

I've had no worries with condensation - this tent can be tightened very close to the ground - and the wall angles, unlike some trendy tents - are away well from your face when lying down.

Set up is so simple - four stakes and poles at 117cm for mine.

I await the 2p and the DD Xmid 40 pack in April.

Good luck with passing on a great tent.

Thanks mate! I love this tent, but now the 2P has been shipped, I’ll use that.

Hi fixa, Ive checked out these tents and all the reviewers love them, seems like a very good buy especially as they can't be bought new at the moment. Unfortunately it is not what I am after right now. Someone should grab it!
