tyvek availability ?

I am trying to find some tyvek as a ground sheet for my nallo 2 .Can some one give me some clues ,or have some for sale? By the way does any one know what it weighs per square metre ? thankyou.

There is a few different types of tyveks out there. The common house wrap is heavier then the 1443R tyvek that I use.

Regular house wrap is about 1.7- 2 ounce/yd2


Soft structure 1443r is about 1.25 ounce/yd2

Yeah I have found 1443R is the best for tarps, For ground sheets though the home wrap would probably go a bit further. There are various places in the USA where you can purchase by the yard and a few in Australia as well(meter). Here is Sydney my friend Michael at Coogee Kite Magic sells it.

Yeah exactly why I chose to ofer it in the tarps. There is a slight weight gain when wet but not enough to worry about. WIth some due care it will go for a good distance as well.
