DWR on polyester?

I have some HD polyester here, some RealTree white bridal satin for a parka project. I'm wondering if anybody has ever used Nikwax on heavy & smooth fabric before who would care to comment on how it worked out?

Nikwax got back to me a week or so ago. TX Direct spray-on was the recommendation and to apply after fabrication; retreat after washing or every few months if worn constantly.

Have a look at
www.ansco.com.au (near northlands in Preston, Melb) - outdoor-waterproofing-clothing. They have Atsko products (for polyester it would be the spray, I think)
