RFL & mesh foot beds

Postby Moondog55 » Sat 26 Mar, 2016 1:57 pm

I know I have mentioned these a few times but today I remembered to take pictures
These are very simple but very very effective when the ground is frozen and colder than freezing
I used the relectix as I had a scrap but breathable building foil paper does the same job
Layer of fibreglass mesh; then the RFL then 2 more layers of FG mesh and sew together

There are very few makers of cold weather boots that have anywhere near enough insulation under the feet and this is a very cost effective upgrade
