Black bootmakers wax

Postby Moondog55 » Tue 02 Feb, 2016 7:38 am

I an having trouble finding some boot-makers hard wax
Anybody know of any sellers offering this product?
I'd steal my fathers but his ball is down to the size of a peanut after 50 years of use
I need to wax some unbonded nylon thread for hand sewing and normal dressmakers beeswax is far too soft
Ve are too soon old und too late schmart

Got some hard cobblers wax years ago at Sovereign Hill in Ballarat. Try Reg Williams at the bootmakers in Latrobe Terrace opposite Kardinia Park.
