Thanks Neil - it can easily be transferred to a top quilt, but I will do up some top quilt instructions soon-ish.

Nice detailed instructions and great result, what was the final weight? And how much of the weight is in the suspension?

Yep, thanks Simon. BTW that looks like a very good suspension, I've done a bit of testing and playing around and found I wanted this type of arrangement with the quilt hung from the corners rather than having the suspension cords run through channels on the sides of the quilt. In that case you can shift the quilt back and forth easily along the cords but it seemed to have a tendency to bunch/sag and you don't get the full length. Your way is a little lighter too, and once it's set up it stays put.

Some manufacturers have both a primary and secondary suspension to counter that accordion effect. Certainly with synthetic quilts the corner suspension is more than sufficient, and like you say is lighter.

Mike - the quilt weighs 363grams with suspension, and the suspension itself weighs a about 22 grams at each end, so 44grams total. That includes the line lock, 3mm shock cord, grosgrain and quilt hook.

Testing over the last few nights indicate it is good to at least 10degC.

That's a pretty good weight considering you didn't use the lightest fabrics and a good weight on the suspension. I've figured on about 50g for a UQ suspension in total.
