Tasmania Wildcare Group looking for volunteers

Postby cap_jack » Mon 24 Jun, 2019 11:03 am

Good day to the group - we have been away awhile sailing our boat around Australia and in particular Tasmania, where we started a Wildcare Group to find and resurrect historic tracks left forgotten by time, and by Parks lacking funding.
Check us out - Friends of Macquarie Harbour and Waterways -

Anyone interested in partaking in this challenging, interesting work should PM me, Jack Binder, Secretary.
Free transport down harbour and up river during maintenance sorties.

Good stuff.

You may find this topic has more traction in the tasmania section. viewforum.php?f=3

Thumbs up :D that your using more permanent metal discs to mark the track. Much better solution than plastic tape which falls off after 3-6 months and gets into waterways.
