He'll hate Tasmania, given how he whinges about the 'rough' tracks, circuitous routes, mud and weather.

...donning red waterproof overalls preparing to descend into the pothole...

It's a drysuit, you twit.
Sounds like a lovely cave system. Wonder if any of it is flooded. There are a lot of really got sinks and sumps up there.

C'mon you guys, give the guy a break! At least he completed the damned thing! On my first attempt southbound, I somehow missed the turnoff to Cross Fell in poor visibility and didn’t wake up to my error until some time later when I realized I was still heading west and downhill. I gave up in disgust, finished the descent and got a couple of lifts to the Lakes District to do a bit more walking there. The second attempt was a couple of weeks later and northbound from Edale and three days later, I ended up in hospital overnight after a fall. Like the C2C, it's sometimes not hard to take the wrong path and on one occasion, I followed an increasingly feeble track to a dead end! All due to inadequate signage in places. Well that’s my take on it anyway but not everyone may agree of course!

Just add to that snakes, possums, drop bears and currawongs.
