Fungi Fest in the Tarkine

Postby Maraea48 » Fri 20 Apr, 2018 7:02 pm

Fungi Season has kicked of in a big way and the Tarkine is home to many species.
Stink horns are popping up every where on the Trowutta arch track and there are many other species all over the place
time to get your camera out and go for a stroll

Tarkine Fungi Hot Spot
We recently intended to spent a few days looking for fungi in the Tarkine but we never got past our first stop!
Trying out different equipment and techniques, we found out that you do not need top of the line equipment to take great fungi photos, all you need is patience. Even an Iphone can take beautiful shots if you know how!

please find a link below to some of the photos we took at the Trowutta Arch track
