Goulds Sugarloaf and more

Postby naturelover » Sat 10 Oct, 2015 3:50 pm

Two weekends ago, two friends and I climbed Goulds Sugarloaf, Little Sugarloaf, Coal Hill + Mts Cuvier and Byron in what was possibly the last of any decent patches of snow in that area for the year. The blotches of shining white certainly made for some spectacular scenery, and the snow leads meant that we had a tiny bit less scoparia to negotiate than in high summer. We nonetheless found enough to satisfy any thirst for being scratched we may have been secretly harbouring. Finding water was not a problem.
