Only an epic if you're 3: Mt Parsons

Postby naturelover » Tue 13 Jan, 2015 3:32 pm

This walk is at the other end of the spectrum from the amazing trip described involving Bathurst Harbour and Federation Peak (2 posts ago - highly recommended), or Peter's trip that became an epic up Mt Anne (looking forward to part two). However, as his doting admirers, we found little Gus's ascent of the fake summit of Parsons to be as epic as a boulder is to an ant. Is he the first barefoot three-and-a-bit year old to get to the false summit of Parsons? If you enjoy seeing the beginnings of the next generation of avid bushwalkers, full action shots can be seen at my blogsite http://natureloverswalks.blogspot.com

You can also, in the entry before, read my very sad tale of a costly summitting of Mt Connection, if you wish.

Speedy recovery, and I hope it heals well.
Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful.
