Markers on the trail

Postby Tai » Thu 27 Apr, 2017 6:51 pm

Hike both Alligator Gorge Ring Route and Mt Cavern (anticlockwise) last weekend.

Was surprise to notice that there were very few markers on both hikes. Was it due to lack of funding or volunteers?

Would have enjoyed the hikes more if we dont have to backtrack quite a few times due to lack of clarity of trail and the constant worry about getting lost. Only met one family while on the trail over two days.

Those wooden logs on the ground coming down from Mt Cavern are priceless, but some are hidden by overgrown scrubs.

First half of Alligator Gorge trail are challenging, but was good once pass the midway point.

All in all good hikes.
