Came across this today, Richard is running the Heysen in support of Reddust.org.au

The plan is to run the 1200km in 14 days, starting in the Flinders and finishing at Cape Jervis. He started on Sunday.

He is carrying a Spot Tracker, seems to be working! :)

And he is on the final leg, just crossing Tunkalilla beach by the looks of it.

Missed his 14 day deadline, that expired at 6:30AM this morning. Pretty amazing effort to run 1200km in 2 weeks anyway.

Might explain why it is SOOOOO packed out down at Deep Ck this weekend . . . well, that and I believe FOHT have 70 walkers going through apparently.
Went into Trig yesterday arvo, FULL.
So too Tapanappa, Stringybark, and Cobblers !!

Had to go back to Rapid Bay council campground (no option to bush camp, nieces first camping trip !).

Well, good on this bloke, top effort.
