anybody free for during the week trekking around brissie?

Postby elinekl » Fri 27 Jan, 2012 8:34 am

Hi,
I've got some spare time and would like to do so hiking camping around brisbane or northern NSW. Anybody up for this?
Let me know!

Me thinks you might have wet walks this coming week. I was hoping the rain might stop and was looking to get out there this weekend too but the weather forecast remains unfavourable (unless you love a good down pour) and tracks are closed in several National Parks (Lamington, Springbrook, D’Aguilar Main Range – check http://www.derm.qld.gov.au/parks_and_fo ... /index.php). I think Northern NSW copped it worse and there may be roads cut in some places. Later next week might be your best bet but the wet weather doesn't seem to be letting up into next week...
