Bushwalk Australia

I'm taking a few days off work, and am looking for a 2-3 day hike somewhere between Rocky (where I'm based) and Brisbane (one of my friends from there might meet me).

I was wondering if anyone knew anything in mt Walsh national park. We're fairly competent navigators and decent at scrambling. The park site says remote camping is fine.

Any suggestions? It looks like there are water sources?
