Focal Peak

Does anyone have advice on access/ track notes for Focal Peak? It looks like it’s in a very remote location so I’d imagine it’s quite a challenge to get to.

Follow the high ground from the back of Monserrat Lookout. When you first walk off from Monserrat the pad is not apparent and it looks a little rough. The pad will soon become more apparent. In the saddle before Focal Peak you may locate a route contouring around to the northern side and down slightly to Cedar Pass. I have always found it more easily from Cedar Pass to the saddle. It continues to deteriorate though through lack of use.
I have never bothered to go to the top of Focal Peak. I have always assumed the views will be non existent. I've passed it many times going to or from Duramlee.

Hello, I went to Focal Peak in 2006, and yes, nothing to see but trees.
I chose to visit from the interesting view on Google Earth, hoping to see it in person, but no.
There was some interesting wildlife on the way though, such as a Bower bird bower right on the track!
