Dear Gold Coast bushwalkers,



We need help from bushwalkers, particularly those who love taking photos! The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service is building a new website—and with over 300 parks to showcase that’s a big visual challenge.



We want to show the world our amazing natural places through the eyes of those who use and love them, with images that capture the beauty and the variety of experiences that we have to offer. We also want to provide practical visual information to help people plan their visits.



Bushwalkers share a love for the outdoors and a deep appreciation of Queensland’s national parks. We invite the members of your club to join in and help us by providing images (and your captions) of our national parks and forests. All photographs will be credited to the photographer.

This ‘call to action’ is going out to camera clubs, bush walking clubs, recreational groups and local communities—all over Queensland. Please help to spread the word by passing this invitation on to your members, as well as anybody else you think may be interested in contributing.
