Bunya Mountains

Postby Bayside Bloke » Mon 08 Jun, 2015 6:57 pm

So I have a spare weekend coming up and have decided to book a cabin up at the Bunya Mountains. I'm Yet to decide on my 1P tent and thought - why not?!

My trusty Take A Walk book lists 3X10-12km tracks. The plan is to walk one a day. Nothing too crazy by any means - more an opportunity to unwind and enjoy a few good walks.

I was surprised to find little written about the tracks themselves. Hopefully I can contribute with some detail upon my return.

mainly because there is not much to write about - well not the walks I've been on anyway'
Mostly Grade 2 tracks but a good place to unwind.
Other than the tracks there is a good summary of the environment at

and its freezing up there this time of the year.....

Hey Tomh. This is definitely a trip focused on getting outdoors and unwinding rather than being challenged.

Thanks for the link!
