Favourite walks with children

Postby Leggy » Fri 12 Dec, 2014 2:06 pm

What's your favourite walk/s to take children on around Brisbane? I'm looking for more walks to do with Miss Seven this coming year. The longest walk we've been on so far was the Moran's Falls circuit at 5km, about a year ago.

Hi leggy,

I don't have kids, but I was one once, and my family took us on many, many walks around the Brisbane area. If she can do 5 km, then there are lots of options - my first thought would be any walk in the Mount Nebo/Mount Glorious area. The rainforest circuit/Greene's falls track is nice, so is the short walk to Western Lookout just across the road. In Summer it can be very hot in the picnic area, but late in the afternoon it is a fantastic little spot.

Cheers,
Munch

If she can swim then definitely rock hop up cedar creek for a swim at the falls. Such stunning clear water.
