water in Wollemi / blue mountains / kanangra Boyd

Hi guys, can report if this is inappropriate as it doesn't relate directly to walking, but I figured this forum would be the best crowd resource for this kind of information.

Am bikepacking (pushbike) down the dividing range in a month or so, on dirt through the national parks, down to snowy river area, from Newcastle. Was wondering how dire the water situation is in the blue mountains/ Wollemi, I don't usually plan this stuff, but there are some long wilderness sections without resupply points, on 4wd tracks so I can imagine the going will be slow (and sweaty). Basically, are there running creeks? I'm from SA so I've never presumed running water before, but it would be nice.

thanks for any info. :D

yes there are some running creeks in the areas you mention, but I can't really work out the specific route you have in mind. Note that bicycles (and privates cards) are not allowed on some of the roads in those national parks (particularly those near Lake Burragorang, which is the main water supply for sydney) - only bushwalkers and NPWS vehicles allowed.
