As for Bobs, I'd love to get up there but having moved from Hobart to Penguin, probably not likely anytime soon. Might have to save it for a walk to vanishing falls one day.

Pity about that. Bobs is lovely, the Boomerang is also well worth the mud you have to squelch through to get to Sydney, and there's some brilliant camping up on or near the saddle between the two. Or on top if the weather's good enough. Plenty of water on Bobs.
