Looking at the Needles, the Dial and Stuart Saddle - I think Robl was right.
This will be heading up towards Goon Moore, a fair way before the 4 Peaks.
The Gables would block a view of this area from the 4 Peaks

Thanks eggs. (I have an old pic from the same position.)
But my original guess was 350m SW of Stuart Saddle which I edited to read 1km SW of the saddle not realising that ILLUVSWTAS had already replied on the following page. Beardless can post a new pic. (I have posted quite a few lately)

Well there remains ambiguity as to whether ILUVSWTAS was saying I was right or whether my guess was just in the right area particularly given eggs comments. So I am reluctant to post a new shot without clarification.

The top pic is from Stuart Saddle looking Goon Moor. (a "needle" can be seen and also a bluff rock below)
The lower pic is from about 500m NW of Goon Moor to Stuart Saddle. (similar to the ILUVSWTAS pic)

Yes. Correct eggs. Stuarts Saddle. Taken through the entry of my tent on the platform at about 2am. Sorry for the late reply.

Nice one.
But more recently I did get this one

Hmmm Looking at Ben Lomond maybe you'd be on Ben Nevis?

Not Ben Lomond, but if I turned slightly to the left I would see Ben Lomond.

Proteus (I think) in front of the Eldon ridge, with Peak and Bluff visible . . . I can't work out that lake, given the angles.

Last has it.
It looks good enough to have a name. On the route to Hydro Hut.
A credit to north-north-west for naming the mountains.
