Thanks Graham, that's just my OCD coming out . I haven't visited that spot although we did travel through the region many, many years ago.

What short walk/peak am I heading onto in North America?

I found the vistas great from the historic weather observatory at the summit.

Yes, close enough Graham. I'm walking to the summit of Sanson Peak 2310 m ASL (interesting history) at the north end of Sulphur Mountain.
To add confusion the true summit of Sulphur Mountain is about 4 km to the south, about 140 m higher, and less visited.

With your clue I guessed it was Port Vila in Vanuatu, and some further research suggests it might be Ramada Resort.

There is some common background Graham, but I'm a long way east of Vanuatu.
I'm on a vessel in the harbour, just looking for the name of the town/city and island (main one of many that make up this nation).
