I think if you look very hard you would see Cathedral in this photo.

It looks familiar. I think you could be somewhere on the Traveller. Maybe? The peak with what looks like snow on its flanks being Gould and . . . no, that doesn't work. You'd have to be on Olympus to get that angle . . . looking across Oenone from the sides of the southern plateau? But that lake is shaped more like Helen and you can't see Leeawuleena . . .

Meh, I don't know.

Is this from the horrible beast which is West Tower?? Looks like Barrow in behind with towers on top.

Not sure if you can see Barrow here, but I think you are right. That is Victoria, Saddleback, and the slopes of Hamilton Crags in picture.

It's actually from the bridge right by the carpark at Lake Dobson...lots of foot traffic - thought someone might have picked it. Plenty of snow about the other day. I think close enough, your go NNW
