Looks like a few have had a look. It is in the Flinders Ranges - in fact, it is very high in the Flinders Ranges.

I've been researching this since Friday and coming up with nothing. Going on the last clue is it St Mary Peak?

It's within a few metres of St Mary's height and is not far from there.

Some people climb up a gully on the outside wall, but we did an easy climb from the inside of the pound.
But it was a clear approach after some fires.
Much harder now with very thick regrowth in the way. Would love to try that gully approach one day.
It was actually my second time up that year, but few photos from the June ascent as we were in cloud and rain.

Spectacular region that remains on my bucket list, I will visit eventually.

Time for some clues. To narrow it down this is in the Blue Mountains region. There is a walk in and walk out of several kms each way on bush tracks and some FT.
Can be a very popular place in summer.

Don't need the exact spot Tom, Wollangambe Canyon it is (One/Upper Tourist Section). This is probably one of the narrowest bits.

No idea, but going by the last clue and some googling I'll try one of the natural arches in the Picanniny Creek Gorge area, Purnululu NP (Bungle Bungles)

You got it, John. I can't even remember the name of this one, except that it does have a name and a little track all of its own. Hole in the Wall, maybe - something like that. But it's all yours now.

Thanks NNW, seems to be many named and unnamed arches there from what I can tell.

I thought this might not to be too difficult, at least for Victorians (but sorry to others). And wobbly, you are so close to correctly answering both questions.

Actually, icefest, more accurate is: what you said, but reversed!

Hint: there is a nice off-track circuit (a triangle) in this park which visits three higher locations, all of which have views of Pyramid Hill, Mt Alexander, etc.

Well scratching aound on Google Maps - there is a Terrick Terrick NP nearby.
I did actually note a Pyramid Hill when driving south of Kerang.
But Mt Alexander is a long way away? Are there 2 Pyramid Hills in Vic?

Edit - now I have a park map, I notice Bennetts Rock is in this park, so maybe from Reigels Rock?

Eggs-actly. Although Rocks (plural) would be a better description. Rock me with a picture from your collection, which I believe is much more impressive than mine.

Icefest, you were only 1.5km out.

Not the Coorong - this is the tidal pool for a creek outlet.

Close enough. This is Waitpinga Beach.
Newland Head is at the eastern end, but this is looking west towards Deep Creek Conservation Park and you can just make out some of Kangaroo Island rising above the sea horizon.
The Heysen Trail is along this beach.
